Gaza Faces Imminent Threat from 2,000 Collapsing Buildings
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, data published by the Mehr News Agency, quoting Quds, indicates heightened concerns over the safety of structures in the Gaza Strip following the tragic collapse of a damaged building that killed 21 Palestinians.
The brutal attacks by the Israeli regime on Gaza have left numerous buildings severely compromised, with the constant threat of collapse looming. It is estimated that around 2,000 buildings in the Gaza Strip are in a similar precarious state, acting as time bombs, especially as the cold and rainy season approaches.
Just days ago, the Gaza Emergency and Rescue Organization reported that the collapse of a residential building housing displaced families in the “Al-Sina’a” area, west of Gaza City, resulted in the deaths of 21 individuals and left approximately 100 people missing.
