Ansarullah Official Declares Taiz City Liberated, Cites Road Security

Hizam Al-Asad, a member of the Ansarullah political bureau, has declared the Yemeni city of Taiz liberated, asserting that Yemeni armed forces have secured the road between Taiz and Aden, contrary to claims of it being cut off. He also highlighted the deterrent power of the Yemeni people.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hizam Al-Asad, a member of the political bureau of Yemen‘s Ansarullah movement, stated that the Yemeni armed forces did not cut off the road between Taiz and Aden, but rather secured it, while the opposing side was responsible for blocking it. Al-Asad further noted that the majority of the brigades involved in liberating several areas of Taiz are comprised of the province’s local population.

Hizam Al-Asad emphasized that the city of Taiz is now considered liberated, as its access routes have been closed off from all sides following the liberation of its surrounding areas. He added that the Yemeni people possess a deterrent force that will be employed at the discretion of the armed forces. Should the enemy initiate a full-scale war, significant damages will be inflicted upon them.
