Russia Strikes Four Vessels Carrying Military Equipment to Ukraine

Russia’s Ministry of Defense announced the successful targeting of four cargo ships in the Black Sea and along the Bug River, which were reportedly being used to transport military supplies to Ukrainian armed forces. The strikes follow recent statements by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, indicating an intensification of Russian attacks on military and defense industry targets within Ukraine.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia‘s Ministry of Defense has reported that its drones, identified as “Gran-4 Seeker,” have struck four cargo ships. These vessels were targeted in the port of Chornomorsk, the Bug River, and the Black Sea. Sputnik cited data published by the Mehr News Agency regarding the Ministry’s announcement.

The Ministry of Defense stated that the targeted ships were being utilized for the transfer of military supplies intended for the armed forces of Ukraine. This action underscores the ongoing conflict and Russia’s efforts to disrupt Ukrainian military logistics.

Furthermore, the Russian Ministry of Defense indicated that following remarks made by President Volodymyr Zelensky, Russian forces will escalate their attacks against military facilities and defense industries located in Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine. Moscow has specified that these forthcoming strikes will focus on military and industrial installations involved in the production of drones and missiles, as well as crucial infrastructure employed by Ukrainian forces.
