Yemen’s Armed Forces announced the execution of three significant operations targeting locations within Saudi Arabia, employing a substantial number of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones. These retaliatory strikes come in response to ongoing Saudi aggressions.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Yemen‘s Armed Forces have carried out three special operations targeting sites within Saudi Arabia, utilizing a considerable volume of ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and drones. Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, stated in a release that the first operation targeted King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, disrupting flights at the facility. The second operation focused on the Aramco refinery in Rabigh, reportedly resulting in a fire at the site. Saree further indicated that the third operation struck Abha Airport, the Khamis Mushait base, and the Akfa camp in the Asir region, along with other sensitive positions in Najran and Jizan. The spokesperson clarified that these operations are a direct response to Saudi “aggression” against Yemen, which he detailed included 60 air and missile strikes over the preceding 24 hours. He asserted that these Saudi aerial and missile attacks had hit Sanaa, Jawf, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, and Marib provinces, resulting in civilian casualties, including women and children. Saree also reported that the total number of Saudi air and missile attacks against Yemen since the escalation of tensions began has reached 1,576. He issued a warning to all airlines operating in Saudi airspace, cautioning them about continuing their flights. The spokesperson emphasized that Saudi airspace, excluding that of Mecca and Medina, would be a theater for their operations and that the Yemeni Armed Forces would not bear responsibility for the consequences should companies disregard these warnings. Saree concluded by stating that the Yemeni Armed Forces possess capabilities and resources that will enable them to counter this escalation, emphasizing their preparedness for such events and that the battlefield would be decisive.
