President Trump Approves Execution of U.S. Soldier for Fort Hood Massacre

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump has agreed to the execution of Nidal Hasan, an Army psychologist whose actions led to the deaths of 13 individuals at a military base. The decision, reported by Al-Quds Al-Arabi and Mehr News Agency, signifies a significant development in a case that has spanned over a decade.
Nidal Hasan committed the deadly attack in 2009, opening fire on personnel at Fort Hood military base in Texas, resulting in the deaths of 13 people and leaving 30 others injured. The incident remains one of the most significant instances of targeted violence at a U.S. military installation.
A spokesperson for the Pentagon confirmed that U.S. Secretary of the Army Pete Haggest and President Trump have both approved the execution of Nidal Malik Hasan via firing squad. This method of execution has been selected for the case.
This planned execution marks the first time the U.S. military will carry out a death sentence since 1961, highlighting the severity and long-standing nature of the legal proceedings against Hasan.
