US Briefs Israel on Potential Iran Operation Amid Heightened Tensions

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a U.S. official revealed to Axios that American authorities have briefed Israel on preparations for a possible operation targeting Iran in the coming three weeks. This development follows statements by Donald Trump, which led to an elevated state of alert within Israel, as reported by Hebrew Channel 14, citing informed sources.
Israeli assessments suggest a resumption of conflict with Iran is possible in the upcoming weeks. Despite Trump’s remarks indicating no attack on Iran before the U.S. midterm congressional elections, Israel remains on high alert, preparing for the potential re-escalation of hostilities. Israeli media highlighted President Trump’s recent comments that he would not attack Iran before the congressional midterm elections, yet emphasized that a new strike against Iran appears closer than ever, necessitating Israeli preparedness for a renewed conflict.
Channel 12 television in Israel reported that U.S. military commanders informed Israeli Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir two days prior that the White House has issued directives for readiness concerning a potential large-scale U.S. attack on Iran in the coming weeks. Zamir has cautioned Israeli political entities that an attack on Iran could potentially lead to the postponement of Israel’s elections, scheduled for October 27.
