Lavrov: Zelensky is Challenging Trump, Lacks Constructive Approach

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov commented that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s position on diesel fuel agreements represents a direct challenge to U.S. President Donald Trump, characterizing such behavior as typical for the Ukrainian leader.
Lavrov added that Zelensky’s stance on the diesel fuel agreement demonstrated a lack of readiness for constructive interaction. He also noted that leaked information regarding Ukraine’s peace proposals offers no solutions for achieving lasting and long-term peace.
The Russian official stated that Russia has not received any official proposals for a peace agreement regarding Ukraine. Moscow remains open to serious, logical, and fair negotiations concerning Ukraine and has never refused to discuss the matter.
Lavrov further commented that Zelensky has preemptively set unacceptable conditions for the potential holding of elections.
