Hamas Rejects UN Envoy’s Stance on Gaza Imports, Citing Israeli Narrative

Hamas has denounced the position of the UN’s Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, Nikolay Mladenov, regarding the suspension of private sector goods entering the Gaza Strip, asserting that his stance echoes the narrative of Israeli occupation authorities.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Hamas has rejected the stance taken by Nikolay Mladenov, the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process, concerning the suspension of private sector goods entering the Gaza Strip. Hamas stated that Mladenov’s position is based on the narrative presented by Tel Aviv officials.

In a statement, Hamas declared its refusal to accept the Zionist entity’s narrative as adopted by Mladenov, and to acknowledge the justification used by Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet for suspending the entry of private sector goods into Gaza.

The movement also refuted accusations made by the Israeli regime regarding Hamas’s involvement in the process of goods entry and the collection of taxes from merchants. Hamas characterized these claims as false and a blatant attempt to exacerbate the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.

Hamas further asserted that Mladenov should cease his biased stance in favor of the occupiers and instead focus on applying pressure to compel them to lift the blockade on the Gaza Strip and halt their criminal actions.
