France Sees 550,000 Participate in Nationwide Protests; 400 Detained
France experienced widespread demonstrations today, with 550,000 people participating across the nation, including 110,000 in the capital, Paris, according to the Interior Minister.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Interior Minister of France announced that 550,000 individuals participated in nationwide protests held today. Of this total, 110,000 people were present in the capital city, Paris.
The minister also disclosed that French police have detained 400 individuals during these demonstrations, asserting that the majority of those arrested were adults.
