Russian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Urges France to Address Domestic Issues

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency, Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on Wednesday criticized the French government, asserting that the country should address its domestic issues before teaching others how to manage societies.
In an interview with Sputnik radio, Zakharova stated, “The leaders of France are destroying everything that seems beneficial for themselves and their people.” She accused the French government of dismantling the relations that Paris had cultivated with Moscow over a decade, describing these ties as “very beneficial and efficient.” The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson also rejected the attempts by French officials to assume the role of advisors, dictating to other countries how they should live and structure their societies.
Meanwhile, France continues to grapple with nationwide protests that began in September, initiated by students demanding improved educational conditions. The scope of these protests has broadened, with reports indicating that over 500,000 people participated in demonstrations on October 17.
