Iran Prepared for Next War Phase, Top Official Warns

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Major General Mohsen Rezaei, Secretary of Iran‘s Supreme National Security Council, has issued a stern warning, stating that any action taken against Iran will incur significant costs. Speaking in an interview with “Drop Site” media, Rezaei emphasized that the world must understand the repercussions of provoking Iran. He indicated a preference for diplomatic solutions if they can foster this understanding, but stressed that Iran possesses the necessary tools to continue its response should the conflict persist.
Rezaei elaborated that Iran had not utilized its complete arsenal in previous stages of engagement, gradually introducing more capabilities in proportion to the intensity of the conflict. He confirmed that the nation is prepared for subsequent phases of warfare.
The senior official further noted that the continuation of the current situation is expected to yield strategic consequences, including the prolonged instability of energy markets for up to three years. Rezaei posited that the ongoing conflict has shifted the dynamics of regional relations in Iran’s favor, citing the rapid redefinition of ties between Persian Gulf nations and Iran.
He also observed that Arab states in the Persian Gulf have come to believe that the U.S. military is incapable of defending even its own bases, a sentiment that contrasts with these nations’ expectations of American protection.
