Trump Promises Oil Price Drop Post-Iran Conflict

U.S. President Donald Trump has reiterated his claim that oil prices will significantly decrease following the conclusion of hostilities with Iran, asserting that increased transit through the Strait of Hormuz indicates Iran’s reduced capacity for negotiation.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump has once again asserted that oil prices will experience a substantial decline once the conflict with Iran concludes. Trump also claimed that the United States was compelled to take action to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, referencing Iran’s nuclear program.

The American President further alleged that the volume of oil transiting the Strait of Hormuz last week surpassed any previous period, even predating the current conflict. He added, “After targeting Iran’s command levels, they no longer have anyone to negotiate with.”

The surge in oil prices stemming from the conflict with Iran has intensified economic pressure on the administration of Donald Trump. The U.S. President has repeatedly pledged to lower prices once the conflict ends. The restrictions on vessel passage through the Strait of Hormuz have also exacerbated economic pressures on the Trump administration, prompting the U.S. President to reiterate his promise of reduced oil prices after the war.

Given the strategic importance of the Strait of Hormuz in global energy transit, and the controls and limitations imposed on vessel passage through this waterway, Iran’s actions to prevent the transit of violating vessels have become a significant factor amplifying concerns about oil supply.
