Russia Offers Mediation Between Iran and United States
The Kremlin has reiterated its readiness to mediate between Iran and the United States should both nations request it, emphasizing its commitment to de-escalating regional tensions and facilitating a peaceful resolution to the nuclear issue.
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Kremlin spokesperson has once again stressed that Moscow is prepared to mediate between Iran and the United States if requested by Tehran and Washington.
Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated in an interview with Al Jazeera that Russia is fully prepared to take any action to prevent a military scenario in the Persian Gulf region.
He also added, “If the problem is over enriched uranium, Russia is ready to transfer it to its territory.”
The senior Russian official further noted that the issue of Iran has always been raised in Moscow’s discussions with Washington as part of an exchange of views.
