According to the regional office of Tasnim news agency, “Dimitri Zhirnov, the Russian ambassador in Kabul, in a meeting with Mohammad Abdul Kabir, political deputy of the prime minister of the Taliban government, said that Russia is ready to cooperate with Afghanistan in various fields and wants to expand the relations between the two sides even more.
The Russian ambassador also emphasized that the bilateral cooperation and interaction between Moscow and Kabul can contribute to the stability of the region and the economic development of Afghanistan.
Zhirnov, referring to Russia’s support position for Kabul in international meetings about Afghanistan said that Moscow values the supervision of the Taliban government in important meetings.
The Russian ambassador also invited Abdul Kabir to participate in the international meeting. In Kazan, Tatarstan, he provided information regarding this meeting.
The political deputy of the Taliban prime minister also emphasized in this meeting that the relations between Kabul and Moscow are in the interest of both countries and can lead to stability and progress in the region.
To attend the Kazan meeting, Russia called the relations between the two countries important and friendly and asked Russian investors to invest in Afghanistan.
