Türkiye rejected Israel’s claim to lift the trade embargo
The Minister of Commerce of Turkey wrote: Israel's claims regarding the reduction of Ankara's trade embargo with Tel Aviv are pure fiction and have nothing to do with reality. |
According to the international group Tasnim news agency, Omer Bulat, Minister of Commerce of Turkey, made a statement on the social network. He wrote about claims to lift most of Turkey’s restrictions against the Israeli regime: “Until our conditions are met to stop attacks on Gaza, a permanent ceasefire and uninterrupted humanitarian aid to our Palestinian brothers in Gaza, our decision to freeze trade with Israel will remain valid.”
He added: Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz’s statements are pure fiction and have nothing to do with reality.
Katz wrote that Turkey has lifted most of its sanctions against Israel.
Turkey’s Ministry of Commerce announced last Thursday in a statement on the “X” channel that it will completely suspend trade relations with Israel until humanitarian aid enters the Gaza Strip without restrictions.
