The discovery of a non-functioning missile left over from World War II in western Poland led to the evacuation of about 80 people.

According to Webangah News quoted by Mehr News Agency, according to Euronews, about 80 people were evacuated following the discovery of a malfunctioning “Katyusha” missile from World War II in a village in western Poland.

This missile was discovered in an area located about 100 meters from the village of “Khalbovu”. This village witnessed heavy battles in March 1945.

According to one of the police officers, a part of the road leading to this village has been closed and some people have been transferred to a primary school and 13 people have been evacuated from the area. have refused.

Katyusha rockets typically have a large blast wave, and officials have recommended a 1,500-meter safety zone.
