Lavrov: Israel’s desire to destroy Hamas is unrealistic

The Russian Foreign Minister said in a speech to reporters on Sunday that Israel's demand to destroy Hamas is unrealistic.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Sunday that Hamas had a lot of support in the Islamic world and still maintained sufficient capabilities.

He was speaking to reporters in Malaysia and added: “Destroying Hamas is an unrealistic Israeli goal, and the killings in Gaza will not end.”

The Russian Foreign Minister said: “Israel has announced through Netanyahu that the war will not end until Hamas is completely destroyed, in my opinion and many of my colleagues, this is an unrealistic mission.”

Lavrov continued: “Hamas will continue its existence and has sufficient capabilities and support, including in the Islamic world”. The continuation of the war in this line has taken an increasing trend.

According to the reports, three Israeli soldiers who returned from the Gaza war announced that they will not return to Gaza. The futility of the war, the way it was mismanaged, the disappointment of Tel Aviv to return the Israeli prisoners, etc. are among their reasons for this decision.
It was last month that 41 reservists announced in an open letter that they are no longer involved in army operations. They will not continue in the city of Rafah located in the south of Gaza.

The Yediot Aharnot newspaper wrote on June 11 that the officers of the Israeli army are fleeing from military service and that suicide cases among them are increasing terribly.

According to the Israeli authorities, more than 9,000 Zionist soldiers have received psychological treatment since the beginning of the war against the Gaza Strip, and a quarter of them have not returned to the war.

On the other hand, the Palestinian news agency Wafa announced last night in a report that the Israeli army once again attacked the Balata camp in the east of Nablus with military equipment, snipers and bulldozers.

Films released from the West Bank show the conflict between the resistance front and the Zionist army in this camp. After an hour of fighting, the Israeli army finally left the camp. At least 2 people were killed and dozens were injured as a result of the attack on this camp located in the West Bank.

This is the fourth attack on Balata camp in the last 24 hours. About 27 thousand Palestinians live in this camp. With the increase of conflicts in the Gaza Strip, the attacks of the Israeli army on the West Bank have also intensified. According to the Palestinian authorities, since the beginning of the Gaza war, 592 Palestinians have been martyred in the West Bank and nearly 5,400 others have been injured.

Since the beginning of this war, nearly 10,000 Palestinians from the West Bank have been arrested by Israeli forces and are in prisons of the Zionist regime.

The statistics of the martyrs of the war in Gaza is also close to 39 thousand and 300 people.

In addition to this, about 90,600 other Palestinians were injured in the ground, air and artillery attacks of the Zionist regime.

According to the statistics published by the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza today on the 296th day of the Gaza war, the Zionist regime committed three new crimes in the last 24 hours, during which 66 people were martyred and 241 people were injured.

The Zionist regime resumed its attacks against different areas of the Gaza Strip just one day after the bloody crime in the shelters of the Palestinian refugees in the center of the Gaza Strip and at the same time as the news about the beginning of the alleged ceasefire talks in Rome, Italy.
