The President of Türkiye and the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq discussed and consulted on ways to expand relations between Ankara and Baghdad and the development road project.

reported Mehr News Agency quoted by Anatolia News Agency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Iraqi Kurdistan Regional President Nechirvan Barzani discussed and consulted on ways to expand relations between Ankara and Baghdad and the development road project.

This meeting took place in Beshtepe rally and Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan also attended this meeting.

In this meeting, Erdogan expressed hope for the successful holding of regional elections on October 20, and emphasized the importance of the development road project on the stability, peace and all-round development of the region as well as northern Iraq. .

The President of Turkey also stated in this meeting that the military aggression of the Zionist regime is pushing the region towards a full-scale war.

Erdogan also emphasized the importance of joint fight against terrorist groups and said that Turkey will always be with the Iraqi government and people after this.
