U.S. Awaits Ukraine’s Response on Trump’s ‘Final Offer

According to the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn TASS, Axios reported in an article citing sources from this American news outlet that Washington expects to receive Kyiv’s response regarding Donald Trump’s latest proposal for resolving the Ukraine war following the April 23 meeting in London.
Axios wrote that Trump’s “final proposal” was drafted on a single page and delivered to Ukraine during an April 17 meeting in Paris attended by British, American, and French delegations.
The report stated that this proposal includes a condition requiring Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to make “major concessions.”
The American website added that the U.S. side “expects…”Ukraine is expected to respond today (Wednesday) to a peace framework under which the U.S.woudl recognise Crimea as part of Russia and informally accept Moscow’s control over nearly all territories it has seized.
Axios sources have reported that Ukrainian envoys intend to discuss a 30-day ceasefire during today’s meeting in London, rather than debating the specifics of Trump’s peace plan.Prior to the UK-U.S.-Ukraine talks in London, The Daily Telegraph wrote that Washington will unveil its seven-step plan to resolve the Ukraine war at this meeting. The proposal includes terms recognizing Russian sovereignty over Crimea and lifting all U.S. sanctions against Moscow but offers no clear security guarantees for Kyiv.
According to the document, Keith Kellogg, the U.S. special envoy for Ukraine, will present this plan today in London. Then, Steve Wittek…F, Trump’s special envoy, travels to Moscow and presents this proposal to the Russian government.
