Restaurant fire in China claims at least 22 victims
At least 22 killed in restaurant fire in northeastern China.
According to the English section of “webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency and Reuters, China’s state broadcaster CCTV reported that at least 22 people died in a fire at a restaurant in the country’s northeast.
CCTV did not provide details on the cause of the incident, which occurred in a residential area of Liaoning province.
Chinese President Xi Jinping described the tragedy as a “disturbing lesson” and urged local authorities to swiftly investigate its cause and hold those responsible accountable.
