According to the English section of “webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency and Arabic news outlet 21, the Israeli Mossad spy service, in a rare move in its history, publicly honored three key operatives behind the terrorist bombing of pagers in Lebanon during an official ceremony.the agency celebrated their role in the massacre and injury of thousands of Lebanese citizens.
Hebrew-language media released video footage showing Mossad honoring the three individuals responsible for the pager bombings during a Nakba Day event. The trio appeared on stage wearing sunglasses and masks, identified only by initials: “R,” ”D,” and “N.”
on September 17, 2024, Israel carried out a terrorist operation involving explosive devices hidden inside pager batteries—detonated remotely—in Lebanon. The attack killed 27 Lebanese civilians, including women and children, and injured thousands. Israel officially claimed responsibility for this act, widely condemned internationally as state-sponsored terrorism.
Former Mossad chief David Barnea stated that 500 pagers were rigged weeks before October 7, 2023, with planning spanning nearly a decade.
