U.S. President orders Reopening of Notorious ‘Alcatraz’ Prison in Social Media Post!
According to a report by the English section of ”webangah News Agency” citing Mehr News Agency and Reuters, Donald Trump, the U.S. President, announced that he has ordered the Federal Bureau of Prisons to renovate and reopen the infamous “Alcatraz” prison.
Trump wrote in a post on his social media platform, “Truth Social”: “Renovate and reopen Alcatraz! Back when we were a more serious country, in days gone by, we didn’t hesitate to lock up risky criminals and keep them far away from everyone.”
The federal prison of Alcatraz, which once held some of the most notorious and dangerous criminals like Al Capone, was closed in 1963. Today, it stands as one of San Francisco’s most famous tourist attractions.

Nancy Pelosi,former Speaker of the U.S. house of Representatives, responded to Trump’s message by stating: “Alcatraz was shut down as a federal prison over 60 years ago. The site is now a highly renowned national park and major tourist attraction. The President’s proposal isn’t very serious!”
