Kremlin Spokesperson Reports Putin and Pezeshkian Discussed Indirect Talks Between Tehran and Washington.
According too a report by Mehr News Agency, citing Reuters, Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesperson, announced on Tuesday that Putin expressed condolences to Iran’s President over the deaths of several Iranian citizens in the explosion at Shahid Rajaei Port during a phone call.
The Kremlin stated that Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the progress of (indirect) negotiations between Iran and the United States with Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian on Tuesday.Putin emphasized Russia’s readiness to facilitate dialog between Iran and America to reach a “fair agreement.”
