U.S. President Again Calls for an End to the Ukraine War
According to a report by the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing mehr news Agency and Al Jazeera, Donald Trump, the U.S. President, reiterated the necessity of ending the Ukraine war during a speech.
Trump stated: “The war in Ukraine is foolish, and I have urged Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Vladimir Putin, the presidents of Ukraine and Russia, to stop this conflict.”
He further highlighted his administration’s efforts to bring the Ukraine war to an end as quickly as possible.
Referring to trade disputes with other nations, Trump added: “We will soon reach trade agreements with four or five countries. The deal secured with Britain was truly excellent.”
Emphasizing his administration’s economic policies in trade wars and tariffs, he noted: “A minimum 10% tariff will always apply to foreign goods—though some tariffs will be higher.”
On domestic economic policies, he said: “We aim to redistribute wealth in society by increasing taxes on the wealthy.”
