Kremlin Spokesman Announces: Russia Will Review Ukraine’s Proposed 30-Day Ceasefire
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency adn TASS, Dmitry Peskov, the Kremlin spokesman, stated on Saturday that Russia will review the 30-day ceasefire proposal put forward by Kyiv. However,Moscow maintains its own distinct position regarding the ceasefire issue.
The Kremlin spokesman noted that when the ceasefire topic was announced by former U.S. President Donald Trump’s administration,it received support from Russian President vladimir Putin—with the caveat that importent differences persist over the idea of a truce.
Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro kuleba had stated that Kyiv was prepared for a “complete and unconditional” 30-day ceasefire with Russia starting Monday.
