Deadly storm in Missouri US claims at least 7 lives

According to a report by the English section of webangah News⁢ Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Reuters, at least seven people have‌ died following devastating storms that ⁢swept through Missouri, USA.

Authorities⁣ are conducting door-to-door searches‌ to rescue survivors or ‌individuals⁤ trapped in buildings.

Reuters reported‌ that ⁤the severe storms included at least one suspected⁤ tornado, wich caused ⁤notable damage.

The storms were part of a larger storm system that caused severe damage to Missouri on⁤ Friday. Tornadoes that also tore through Wisconsin left hundreds ⁢of thousands without power in the great Lakes region.

Cara Spencer, Mayor of St. Louis,Missouri,stated⁢ that Friday’s storm damaged ‍over 5,000 residential units and left more than 100,000 customers without power until⁣ late last night.

The⁤ number of injured remains unclear; however, hospital officials confirmed 20 to 30 admissions, with some⁤ in critical condition.
