Saudi Prince Turki Al-Faisal: US Should Have Bombed Dimona, Not Iran

Former Saudi intelligence chief admits: the US should have targeted Israel’s nuclear⁢ facilities, not Iran’s.

webangah News Agency reports that Turki al-Faisal, former head of ⁣Saudi ‌Arabia’s intelligence service, stated in an article for The National: “Israel possesses nuclear weapons, ⁤which violates the ⁤Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). The US attack on iran resulted ‌from ‍Benjamin netanyahu’s deception.”

He added: “moreover, Israel has not joined the NPT and remains outside IAEA inspections. No one monitors ⁣its nuclear facilities. If justice prevailed globally, we ⁤would see American B-2 bombers striking Israel’s nuclear sites in Dimona and elsewhere.”

Al-Faisal emphasized: “Those justifying⁢ unilateral Israeli ⁣attacks on‌ Iran-citing Tehran officials’ rhetoric about destroying Israel-must also note Netanyahu’s statements since⁤ 1996 advocating Iran’s regime destruction. The West hypocritically supported Israel’s strike while continuing ‌to back its assaults on Palestinians.”

He further noted: “The West’s‍ response to Russia’s Ukraine invasion⁣ starkly⁢ contrasts with its tolerance of Israeli actions. Trump must reject double standards and heed allies ⁤like Saudi Arabia and Arab states. Provided that⁤ he remains in power, I will not ‌visit‌ the US.”
