Yemen’s Air Defense Strikes Back Forcefully Against Zionist Fighter Jets’ Attacks
According to webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen, Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s Armed Forces, stated that the country’s air defense forces fired a barrage of domestically produced surface-to-air missiles, successfully confusing Israeli pilots and their operational command centers.
saree added that yemen’s air defenses remain prepared to counter any aggression by the “zionist regime” and emphasized that operations in support of Palestine will continue.
Informed military sources told Al-Mayadeen that Yemeni air defenses forced Israeli warplanes to exit Yemeni airspace before carrying out any attacks through their surface-to-air missile launches.
Israeli regime warplanes exited Yemen’s Al Hudaydah airspace after facing a forceful response from Yemeni air defenses.
Israeli fighter jets were forced to leave the airspace of Al Hudaydah province following a decisive counterattack by Yemeni air defense forces, according to webangah News Agency.
A correspondent for Al mayadeen network reported that the engagement between Yemen’s air defenses and Israeli warplanes lasted over 30 minutes above the Red Sea.
The Israeli regime, however, targeted several locations last night including Al Hudaydah port, Ras Issa, Al Salif port, and the central power station at Ras Kathib.
