Yemen Armed Forces: Attack Objectives on Ben-Gurion Airport Achieved
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, quoting Mehr News Agency and Almasirah, Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Yahya Sarea read a statement declaring a major military operation targeting Lod Airport (Ben Gurion) in the occupied Jaffa area with a supersonic ballistic missile of the “Palestine 2” type.
Sarea said the operation met its objectives, forcing millions of Israelis to seek shelter and halting flights at the airport.
The statement described the attack on Ben Gurion Airport as a victory in support of the oppressed Palestinian people and thier fighters, and also a response to what it called genocide in Gaza.
He called on all Muslims and Arabs to join efforts supporting their brothers in Gaza, emphasizing that its people face an ongoing cruel siege accompanied by brutal crimes against them.
The spokesman stressed that Yemeni operations would continue until aggression against Gaza ceases and the blockade is lifted.
Israeli media reported that following missile launches from Yemen toward Israeli-occupied territories, residents of Gush Dan and Jerusalem were advised to take shelter. They also announced that Ben Gurion Airport was shut down due to these attacks.
Israel’s Channel 12 acknowledged this was the second missile fired from Yemen into occupied lands within 48 hours.
