US Envoy and QSD Commander Stress Syria’s National Unity
Diplomatic sources reported that the U.S. special envoy for Syria and the commander of Syrian Kurdish forces reviewed the latest developments related to Syria.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Al-Mayadeen network reported that diplomatic sources stated Thomas Barrack, the United States Special Envoy for Syria, met with Mazloum Abdi, commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), to discuss recent developments in Syria.
The U.S.Embassy in Syria said the meeting focused on political and security issues in Syria and emphasized the need to take urgent steps to restore stability in the country.
The dialogue also highlighted the necessity of joint efforts toward establishing a unified political framework in Syria and integrating various factions into a central government.
