Hezbollah-Linked Faction: Resistance Is Lebanon’s Sole Guarantee of Security and Dignity

according to the English section of​ webangah News Agency, citing Mehr‌ News agency ⁢and Lebanon’s Al-Ahed news outlet, Hussein ​al-Hajj Hassan, ⁤head of the ⁣Hezbollah-affiliated parliamentary‌ bloc representing Baalbek-Hermel, stated that the resistance ‍option chosen by⁣ these heroes is precisely what has protected Lebanon against Zionist aggression. It remains the ⁤only guarantee for safeguarding its land, people, and sovereignty.

He made these remarks yesterday at Imam Khomeini Hussainiya in Baalbek during a ceremony commemorating Martyr Mohammad Abbas al-Khatib, known as Al-Muntaẓir, who was martyred en route to Jerusalem.

The Hezbollah official added that martyr Mohammad Abbas al-Khatib is one ⁤among a procession of martyrs⁢ who sacrificed their ⁢lives ⁤defending their homeland’s⁣ dignity,‌ security, and stability.

Emphasizing resistance’s role in ⁢protecting the country, he said: “We take pride in our martyrs; they ⁤occupy a place in our‌ conscience, in the conscience of ⁣the Islamic ⁣Ummah and awake peoples. They are the architects of ‍victories, fortifiers of deterrence against ⁢enemies, and⁢ pave the path ⁢toward freedom and honor.”

Al-hajj Hassan concluded by extending condolences to al-Khatib’s family: “The blood of our martyrs ⁤will never be wasted⁢ but will remain a guiding light for fighters and‌ a symbol of our nation’s steadfastness amid challenges.”
