Turkish Plane Lands in Aleppo for First Time in 13 Years
Turkish sources report that the first Turkish Airlines passenger plane has landed at Aleppo International Airport after years of absence.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency,citing Mehr News Agency and Arabic anadolu Agency,Turkish Airlines resumed flights from Istanbul to Aleppo on Friday after a 13-year pause.
The first Turkish Airlines passenger plane in years touched down at Aleppo International Airport.
On Monday, Turkish Airlines had announced the restoration of flights between istanbul and Aleppo.
The airline stated that round-trip ticket prices start at $299.
It is worth noting that Turkish Airlines suspended its flights to Aleppo in 2012.
