Occupation of Gaza Will Cost Tel Aviv Billions of Shekels
Israeli officials acknowledge teh staggering costs of the Gaza occupation by the regime’s military.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Ma’an, Israeli authorities estimate that the monthly cost of occupying Gaza City, which may last several months, ranges between 12 to 15 billion shekels.
The report states that approximately 250,000 reserve soldiers are expected to be mobilized for the gaza occupation, resulting in monthly expenses exceeding seven billion shekels for Tel Aviv.
In addition, costs related to military equipment and ammunition will raise these figures significantly.
Previously, an operation known as Gideon’s Chariots had already cost Israel 25 billion shekels.
