France Takes Action Against Employees of Israeli Regime Airline El Al
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency, Lebanese outlet Al-Akhbar reported that France’s refusal to extend visas for El Al’s security staff has left some employees either staying in France without valid visas or returning to Tel Aviv.
A French security official described this as an unprecedented move, with some viewing it as an attempt to halt El Al’s security teams’ activities within France.
Sources indicate that this decision stems from political tensions between Paris and Tel Aviv and is considered an anti-Israeli measure.
Meanwhile, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign affairs confirmed it is addressing the issue through its embassy in Paris. However, the French embassy in Tel Aviv declined to comment.
El al referred inquiries regarding the matter to Israel’s Foreign ministry and internal security agency Shin Bet; neither entity responded.
This advancement comes amid escalating strains between Paris and Tel Aviv, including recent incidents such as attacks on El Al offices in Paris by pro-Palestinian activists and Israel’s sudden withdrawal from June’s Paris Air Show.
