Trump Sues Federal Reserve Chairman
The President of the United States announced that he is considering filing a lawsuit against the federal Reserve Chair over the $3 billion cost of building the Federal Reserve headquarters.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, U.S.President Donald Trump once again targeted the Federal Reserve Chair in remarks made Tuesday, revealing plans to file a lawsuit against him.
The president stated: “The Federal Reserve Chair must lower interest rates instantly. We are considering filing a major lawsuit against him.”
Trump continued: “The lawsuit concerns his $3 billion expenditure for constructing the Federal Reserve headquarters. By delaying decisions,he has harmed our economy.”
This comes after months of Trump attempting to pressure the Fed Chair into cutting interest rates in an effort to influence U.S. monetary policy.
