Zelensky Arrives in Washington: “We Want to End the War Immediately

According to⁢ the English section of webangah News Agency, citing AFP, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky called for lasting peace upon his arrival in Washington to meet with U.S. President donald Trump and European leaders.

On the eve of this crucial meeting, Zelensky wrote on social media: “We are all eager to⁣ bring a swift and reliable end to this⁢ war.”

The Ukrainian president is scheduled⁣ to meet with Trump alongside several European leaders,including the President of the European Commission. This meeting comes shortly after Trump’s summit with Russian President vladimir Putin in Alaska.
