Wave of Condemnation Over Gaza Journalists’ Assassinations
The English section of webangah News Agency quoted Mehr News Agency quoting Al Jazeera reporting that the israeli occupation army has once again committed a fresh crime against media personnel by killing Mohammed Salameh, a cameraman for Al Jazeera, along with several other journalists in Gaza. This crime has triggered waves of global denunciation.
Al jazeera announced that with Salameh’s death, its total number of journalist casualties during the Gaza conflict has reached 10. 240 journalists have been killed since the start of the war.
The network described the Gaza conflict as “the bloodiest battle in contemporary history for journalists.”

the Foreign Correspondents’ Association expressed shock and outrage over killings affecting reputable international media staff. It demanded immediate explanations from both israel’s military and prime minister’s office.

The International Federation of Journalists reported that Israeli forces have so far assassinated 217 Palestinian reporters as hostilities began. “We condemn this latest war crime committed by Israel,” it said.
