Erdogan: Perpetrators of Palestinian Massacre Will Soon Be Held Accountable
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Anadolu Agency, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan emphasized that those who kill defenseless Palestinians in front of cameras every day will sooner or later be held responsible.
He made these remarks Wednesday night during the graduation ceremony for gendarmerie and coast guard students in Ankara.
Erdoğan stated: “The injustices witnessed by Gaza and the scenes of innocent, starving children dying pain the heart of every conscientious person.”
He added, “The killers of our Palestinian brothers who are targeted daily with bullets and bombs on camera will undoubtedly face justice eventually, sooner or later.”
Referring to ongoing Israeli attacks, Erdoğan said: “The Israeli murderers and their insistence on continuing this violent massacre have enraged all of us.”
The Turkish president also expressed sorrow that an oppressed people are being slaughtered in front of what is called the civilized world.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel-with U.S. support-has waged a bloody war against Gaza. Palestinian sources report that it has caused 62,895 deaths, 158,927 injuries, over 9,000 missing persons, and hundreds of thousands displaced.
Furthermore, due to an imposed siege and famine by Israel on this defenseless population, 313 Palestinians-including 119 children-have died.
