U.S. Congresswoman: Netanyahu Is Responsible for Gaza Children’s Hunger
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency, Democratic Congresswoman Delia Ramirez criticized Israel’s policies toward the Gaza Strip. She stated that the military blockade imposed by Benjamin Netanyahu has led to widespread hunger among Palestinian children.
Ramirez described the situation as “an inhumane nightmare” and called for its immediate end.
this protest comes following a recent American university poll showing that 60 percent of U.S. voters oppose sending additional military aid to Israel.
The same poll found that 50 percent of American voters believe Israel is committing “genocide” in Gaza.
As october 7, 2023, with U.S. backing, Israel has waged a bloody war on Gaza that, according to Palestinian sources, has killed 62,895 people, wounded 158,927 others, left more than 9,000 missing, and displaced hundreds of thousands.
The ongoing siege and imposed famine have resulted in the deaths of at least 313 Palestinians-including 119 children-who remain defenseless under these conditions.
