Reuters: Russia and China Draft Resolution to Extend JCPOA
Political sources report that Russia and China are taking steps to extend the nuclear agreement with Iran for an additional six months.
According to the English section of webangah news Agency, citing Mehr news Agency and Al Jazeera, Reuters has reported based on political sources that Russia and China are preparing a draft resolution to present to the Security Council aimed at extending the nuclear deal with Iran for six more months.
The draft calls on relevant parties to immediately resume nuclear negotiations.
Notably, Reuters sources claimed that the Security Council will hold a meeting tomorrow, Friday, to consider actions by the UK, France, and Germany regarding the activation of the snapback mechanism. Al Jazeera also reported that this session will take place behind closed doors.
