Congress Members Demand Israel Immediately Cease Attacks on Syria
Three U.S. Congress members have urged the Israeli regime to promptly cease it’s unfriendly actions against Syria.
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, three U.S. Congress members stated that Israeli attacks on Damascus hinder efforts to achieve stability in syria.
The congressmen emphasized that Israel must immediately halt its attacks on Syria to allow diplomatic efforts to continue.
Local sources in syria reported early Thursday that Israeli warplanes targeted areas around al-Askawh in the suburbs of Damascus with multiple airstrikes.
Sources also confirmed that Israeli forces bombed around Jabal al-Mana’a in western Damascus suburbs.
On Tuesday, this area was also attacked by Israel, resulting in the deaths of six militants affiliated with al-Julani.
