National Front for the Liberation of Palestine Condemns Israeli Attacks on Yemen
The National Front for the Liberation of Palestine issued a statement condemning Israel’s recent aggression against Yemen, calling it a clear indication of the regime’s strategic defeat, weakness, and inability.
The statement said the assault on Yemen marks a new chapter in the open wars waged by the Zionist enemy against the entire nation.
it added that today Yemen stands, like Palestine, as an impenetrable barrier against the new Zionist-American project.
Earlier hours saw Israeli airstrikes targeting Sanaa,Yemen’s capital. Following these strikes, successive explosions were heard across the area.
Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that more than 10 air raids hit Sanaa.
Reports indicate that Israel’s naval forces also participated in these attacks.
Israel Radio claimed some strikes targeted buildings where officials from Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement were allegedly present.
A few days prior to this event, Israeli warplanes had bombed civilian areas in Sanaa as well.
While Israel asserts that its latest strikes succeeded in killing Yemen’s Minister of defense, Interior minister, and Chief of Staff of its army, Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti-a senior member of Ansar allah’s political office-stressed that none of these leaders were present at any locations targeted by Israel during these attacks.
