Organized Destruction of Gaza City Neighborhoods by the Zionist Regime
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing the Shehab News Agency, the Islamic Resistance Movement hamas released a statement declaring that the Zionist occupation army continues its systematic demolition of Gaza City’s neighborhoods under a criminal plan aimed at genocide and ethnic cleansing.
The statement reads: “What the fascist occupation army is doing through extensive aerial bombardment and using explosive-laden drones in densely populated residential areas constitutes an unprecedented violation of international and humanitarian laws.”
Hamas added: “The Netanyahu war cabinet has launched an all-out war against innocent civilians, especially in gaza City, pursuing a scheme for genocide and forced displacement of Palestinians.”
The statement also referred to two recent massacres by the Zionist forces: one in Gaza’s Al-Daraj neighborhood where more than ten people-including women and children from the Al-af family-were martyred; another in Khan Yunis’ Mawassi area where eleven people, including seven children fetching water, were killed in a drone strike.
Hamas emphasized: “These actions are clear war crimes under international law demanding immediate intervention by the Security Council to halt this genocide and bring those responsible to justice.The US government, which prevents international security and judicial bodies from fulfilling their roles against these brutal crimes witnessed worldwide over nearly two years, is a true partner in this atrocity. History will never forgive it,and all perpetrators will be held accountable nonetheless of time passed.”
The movement called on Arab and Islamic countries and also freedom advocates worldwide to take active measures and exert continuous pressure to stop this genocidal crime committed by Israel in Gaza Strip, which threatens regional security and peace.”
