Xi Jinping Declares Multipolar World Order Irreversible Trend

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Chinese President Xi Jinping asserted at the 26th Summit of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, that the emergence of a multipolar world has become an irreversible historical process. He further elaborated that China champions the establishment of a multipolar, equitable, and just global landscape, noting that nations of the Global South are now key contributors to discussions shaping this new order and advocating for their enhanced roles. The Chinese leader also stressed the importance of collaborating to restore the authority of the United Nations, suggesting that the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation can play a more significant part in constructing a world founded on justice and equality. President Xi highlighted China’s commitment to supporting countries in the Global South, expressing a preference for partnership and cooperation over confrontation and bloc formation.
