White House: Pentagon Informed Us This Morning That Israel Is Attacking Hamas
The English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Jazeera, reported that on Tuesday, the White House spokesperson refrained from condemning Israel’s aggression against Qatar. Rather, they stated: “A unilateral bombing of Qatar does not advance the interests of Israel or the United States.” The President asserted that this unfortunate event might present an opportunity for peace.
The spokesperson added that President Trump has spoken with the Emir of Qatar and confirmed his desire for peace in the Middle East (West Asia). Bombing Hamas in Qatar does not serve U.S. objectives. The president asked Witkoff to instantly inform Qatari officials about this imminent attack, which Witkoff subsequently did.
The White House further noted that the Pentagon notified the U.S. government earlier today about Israel’s planned strike against Hamas in Doha.
