White House: Attack on Qatar Does Not Advance U.S. or Israeli Objectives

The White House spokesperson stated that an attack on Qatar woudl not advance the ⁤objectives of the‌ United States and Israel.

According to the English ‍section of webangah News Agency,⁤ citing Mehr News Agency⁣ and CNN, White House spokesperson Caroline Lewitt said a unilateral bombing inside Qatar-a sovereign nation and close US ally-would not help advance the goals of either Israel or the United States.

She ⁤added, “However, eliminating Hamas remains a worthy objective.”

Earlier, US President Donald Trump said that on Tuesday morning, the US military informed his governance that israel planned to attack Hamas positions located in part of Doha, Qatar’s capital. He emphasized this was a decision made ‌by Prime Minister Netanyahu, not himself.

Trump reiterated that a unilateral bombing within Qatar-a sovereign and close US‌ ally working courageously ‌with ‍America to mediate peace-does not serve American or Israeli interests.

The ⁣President said he believes this unfortunate incident could serve as an prospect for peace. He also spoke with qatar’s Amir and⁤ Prime Minister to thank them for⁤ their ⁢friendship and support toward the United States and assured them such an event would not ⁤happen ⁤again on their soil.

“I want all⁣ hostages released along with the bodies of those⁤ killed,” Trump stated. “This war must end promptly.” He also noted his⁣ post-attack conversation with Prime⁢ Minister Netanyahu, who expressed his desire for peace.

Trump said he instructed Whitaker to notify Qatari officials about Israel’s planned attack;‌ though, it was too late by then.

The ⁢Zionist regime-which has failed to achieve any objectives in Gaza during over 700 days of conflict-on Tuesday targeted‌ Hamas negotiators in Qatar without regard for international law. This cowardly act once again demonstrated that peace⁤ with this fake regime is nothing but an illusion.
