Hamas Condemns Israeli Regime’s Airstrike on Yemen
The Palestinian resistance movement Hamas strongly condemned the Zionist regimeS aggression against Yemen in a statement reported by webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and the Palestine Details Center.
Hamas denounced the brutal attack targeting Sana’a and Al-Jawf provinces, which resulted in civilian casualties and injuries among innocent non-combatants.
The movement described this act as a serious breach of international law, an infringement on Yemen’s sovereignty, and evidence of increasing Zionist recklessness across the region.
The statement expressed full solidarity wiht its Yemeni brothers. It emphasized the firm determination of the Yemeni people, their armed forces, and allies in Ansar Allah to continue supporting Palestinians in Gaza-especially during this intensified campaign of savage genocide against them.
Hamas called on Arab and Islamic countries and also international bodies to fulfill their responsibilities by restraining the rebellious Zionist enemy along with its criminal war-mongering leaders. It urged immediate action to halt violent assaults against the Palestinian people and persistent threats to regional security and stability.
Hours ago, Israeli warplanes targeted several government centers, media outlets, and civilian infrastructure in Sana’a and Al-Jawf provinces.
Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces, announced that Yemeni air defense systems launched surface-to-air missiles during these operations that forced several Israeli fighter jets to retreat.
