Two Israeli Soldiers Wounded by Quds Brigades’ “Shuja” Bomb + Video
The Israeli military radio reported that following a bomb explosion near a checkpoint in the city of Tulkarm in the West Bank, occupation forces launched a widespread deployment and surrounded the city.
Israeli media reported that two soldiers were seriously injured in the blast and that an army vehicle sustained significant damage.
The reports added that Israeli military helicopters were dispatched to evacuate the wounded from the area.
Palestinian sources also stated that following the explosion, occupation forces fired indiscriminately, injuring several civilians living in Tulkarm.
The Tulkarm Brigade affiliated with Al-quds Brigades-a military wing of Islamic Jihad-said in a statement: “Our fighters along with the heroes of our nation today detonated a planted Shujaa 1 bomb on an army Nimr vehicle belonging to the occupying forces and disabled it.Our fighters documented helicopter landings to evacuate casualties.”
The Israeli army described this explosion in Tulkarm as exceptional, acknowledging that similar attacks have been unprecedented across the West Bank over the past five months.
