Al Thani in US: Meetings with Rubio and Trump

News sources reported on the qatari Foreign Minister and Prime Minister’s trip to the United States and his scheduled meetings⁢ with American officials.

According⁣ to the English section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Arabiya, informed sources announced a meeting today, Friday afternoon,‌ between Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Qatar’s Foreign Minister and Prime Minister, and U.S. President Donald Trump in New York.

Sources stated that the discussion will focus on the repercussions of the Israeli regime’s attack‍ on Hamas leaders in ‍Doha.

Axios claimed this meeting ⁣represents Trump’s support for Doha and his opposition to Israel’s strike.

The ⁣visit‍ is also part of Qatar’s diplomatic‍ efforts to increase international pressure on Tel Aviv to end the Gaza war.

On Friday, Al Thani traveled to Washington were he was scheduled to hold talks with his U.S. counterpart Antony Blinken.

Sources further revealed that Al Thani intends to meet with Vice President J.D. Vance as⁣ well.

Later Friday evening in New York, a session will take place between Trump and Al Thani in ‌the presence of⁢ White House envoy Steve Whitcraft.

The report indicated that discussions will include the U.S.-Qatar⁢ security agreement as a key topic during Al Thani’s visit.

The U.S. State Department confirmed that meetings between Al Thani and American officials will be held behind closed doors at the White House.

It is indeed noteworthy that on Tuesday afternoon, September 8, Israeli warplanes violated Qatari airspace‍ and bombed targets in Doha, Qatar’s capital. The bombing struck Electra district-the location hosting a high-level Hamas delegation led by Khalil al-Hayya.

this meeting aimed at⁢ reviewing America’s latest ceasefire proposal was⁤ targeted by⁤ ten Israeli fighters with Washington’s implicit approval. The attack intended to obliterate peace negotiations undercutting⁢ any chance for ceasefire discussions.

The criminal assault was ordered directly by Benjamin Netanyahu,⁤ Israel’s prime minister. This illegal incursion into Qatar ⁣breached all international ‍laws amid ongoing ceasefire ‍negotiations. It triggered widespread condemnation ⁣from countries ‍worldwide-including even members within America’s own goverment-alongside European Union nations and Israel’s allies.

The primary goal of⁤ this assault was‌ assassination of senior political bureau leaders within Hamas-especially Khalil al-Hayya himself.

As a close political ally and military partner of the United States hosting its largest⁢ regional airbase-the al-Udeid Air Base-Qatar received no defense⁣ response despite possessing advanced American weaponry worth billions bought recently during Trump’s regional visit including luxury gifts valued⁤ at ‌$400 million directed at him personally during previous trips; moreover Patriot missile systems along with THAAD defenses stationed ‌at al-Udeid failed entirely against this brutal attack by Israel which spared no damage or intervention from these advanced US defense⁣ systems protecting Qatar ⁢territory earlier equipped for such threats alike.
