Warsaw Responds to Trump’s Remarks on Russian Drones Entering Polish Airspace

US President’s Comments on Russian Drones Entering Polish airspace ​Draw⁤ Warsaw’s Response.

According to the⁣ English ⁣section of webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Al Arabiya, Poland‌ responded ⁢to US President Donald Trump’s remarks suggesting that a‍ Russian drone’s entry into Polish airspace might have been accidental.

Warsaw strongly‌ rejected this clarification,dismissing the idea that it was a mistake.

In reaction to Trump’s comments on ​X, Poland’s former Prime Minister Donald Tusk wrote: “We wish it really was an‍ accident that Russian drones entered ​our airspace. But⁢ we no it isn’t.”

Polish ⁢Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski also directly addressed Trump’s remarks on social⁤ media,⁤ stating: “No, ⁣this was not​ a mistake.”

Polish and othre European officials emphasized that the drones not only remained in ​Polish skies for an extended period but penetrated up to 300 miles deep into​ Poland’s ⁢territory.

Several European countries, including the⁢ Czech Republic​ and the Netherlands, have summoned​ Russian ambassadors to their foreign ministries in response ​to the incident.

Meanwhile, French President ⁣Emmanuel Macron announced on social media ⁣that three Rafale ​fighter jets will be ‍deployed‌ “to⁣ help protect Polish airspace and⁣ NATO’s eastern​ flank.”

The US president ‍told reporters that Russia’s drone incursion into Poland ⁤may ‍have been accidental. He added: “I am not happy about anything in this situation,‍ but I hope it comes to an end soon.”
